Wi-Fi Dosimeter
For a three-day international cyber security event held at the decommissioned nuclear power plant in Zwentendorf, we developed and manufactured a Wi-Fi dosimeter in close collaboration with Andreas Heydecke (dev&sec).
This multifunctional device enabled participant tracking on the plant grounds and served as a virtual payment interface and hackable event badge. Based on the detected Wi-Fi radiation, participants’ "contamination" levels could be determined, their time in specific areas limited, and points awarded for completing challenges.

Background
The event hosted 100 international participants. Over three days, six teams solved 25 different challenges. Along the way, connections were made, knowledge shared, and friendships formed.
A total of around 115 Wi-Fi dosimeters were produced. The challenge was to create a high-quality product and memorable keepsake despite the low quantity and tight budget.
